Afternoon tea very good. Small place but good selection of sandwiches and cakes. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Parking nearby.
Went for an Italian afternoon tea, it was a cold day and although the heating was on it was still quite chilly upstairs. The food was nice, however the scones were a bit 'heavy'. Also, we asked for a second pot of tea but found it was the old pot topped up with hot water!
Lovely afternoon tea today with a friend. Excellent, friendly welcome and service. Incuded sandwiches, quiche, sausage rolls, fresh cream scones and cakes.
F A B U L O U S. Gorgeous food. A Warm welcome, attentive friendly staff. Food was hot and cooked to perfection, veggies with still a little bite to them just how I like them. Food was faultless and I would be very happy to pay full price for what we were served on our visit. Will definitely be returning. We've found a little gem of a place
Lovely place for an afternoon tea. We had the gentlemans afternoon and it was lovely, more than enough to fill us both, selection was lovely. Gentlemans afternoon tea included 4 different sandwich filling on both white and brown bread, scotch eggs, sausage rolls, pork pie, pizza, bowl of chips, flapjack, Victoria sponge, shortbread tray bake and scones with jam and cream, and a bottle of beer each, although you could swap the beer for a glass or wine if you preferred. With the beer we had a choice of around 7 different bottle beers, you can also add tea or coffee as well at a surcharge, we chose to have a pot of tea for two on top and it was only 2.00. We were seated upstairs and had a choice where we wanted to sit, service was quick and efficient and staff were lovely and friendly. Can not recommend this place enough, we will be back to sample some other delights as we did have a sneaky peak at their menu while we were there and could not believe the prices, its very reasonable and the quality and service is there too!
