Visited whilst taking a short break in the area.There was a bit of a panic on the evening we went as they were having IT issues with their tills.We were still able to order our food and drink though.My husband said the guest beer he had was good and seemed to have been well kept.Good pub grub I had a lovely Gammon and egg with chunky chips, onion rings, peas and tomatoes. Hubbie had the beef and local beer pie with mash and veg with plenty of gravy which he said was ok and our son had chilli and rice with home made tortilla he said it was very nice.Not sure if we'll go back though as lots of other places in the area to try.
Love the atmosphere here, and the bar at which you can hang your coat and sit down at... Awesome. Love it. Beers good too :)
Excellent beer (Joules Gold). Comfortable atmosphere. I didn't eat, but the food I saw being served looked very good. Also dog friendly.
A great pub with a lovely atmosphere. Dog friendly. A great selection of real ales and gin. Didn't get a chance to try the food but will be going again.
Always friendly, clean. Food is good but I wish there was a vegan option (in my preference without red beans pls). Back patio could do with planting to screen the car park. Good selection of drinks. Dog friendly & dog snacks & treats too
