Xmas day lunch abysmal rock hard cauli, no stuffing, dry roast spuds all heaped on plate, long wait between courses, must praise waiter his first day, appeared to be on his own, paid 4* prices 55 per person not worth even quarter of that.
Was expecting much more than we got for the price. On booking, had ordered gluten free options. Starter came with ordinary bread, stuffing was missed from everybodies plate, most of the sprouts were mushy and the peas were over boiled. Unfortunately for them, the fridge was broken and the Ice cream deseart was no longer available. No GF mince pie for me. I am sure they could have popped to the Coop in Codsall and bought some. Much more thought needs to be put in to next year's meal. Please start with the paper table cloths and remove the vinegar, as you are not going to be serving chips.
Great food and warm atmosphere
Beautiful tasting food. Friendly staff. We had mixed grill and rump steak. All were cooked Med Rare as requested.
Excellant! The ambiance was superb. The food and service first class. Drinks were reasonable price. The staff were efficient and courteous. Definitely the place for a further visit.
